Joy Luck Restaurant in Sandy

I love going to the Joy luck restaurant in Sandy. They have the best hand rolled egg rolls you'll ever eat. Made fresh daily. Han is an amazing manager too. He has helped me orchestrate an amazing dinner with screenTV. MADE IT VERY NICE NOT HAVING TO LUG AROUND A BIG SCREEN. I would recommend trying their tangerine chicken. Yum!💗

Delicious food, fast service, clean, and a wide variety of food on the menu. Had the mango chicken and cream cheese wontons. Those were probably the best wontons I’ve had.

Had a great lunch at Joy Luck yesterday! Aside from the food being wonderful, we had the BEST service! Our server noticed I was ordering items without meat and asked if I would like my order to be vegan and not just vegetarian, which was very thoughtful and something NOT every place does. He went above and beyond to make sure my order was animal product free and was gracious in doing so. He took the time to care about our dining experience and it was greatly appreciated by us. In case you were wondering, I had the Spicy Eggplant with tofu (it was amazing!!!), steamed rice, miso soup, and vegan egg roll. Thank you, Joy Luck for having great food and great service!

The lunch special is good, it has a great variety of choices. It was pretty decent food, value. The only thing we didn't like was the soup. It was fairly good, but it has room for improvement. The hot and sour and egg drop soup were pretty bland, but the overall flavour of the rest of the food was great.

My wife and I have been coming here for a couple years now. We absolutely LOVE coming here. The food is always great, the family who owns the restaurant is always INCREDIBLY nice, and the environment is enjoyable to sit in. We have been doing the curbside pick up, (because COVID,) and almost everyone now recognizes when we come through. Lol.If this restaurant is not on your radar, get it on your radar!

So very good!!! So much food!!! We couldn’t eat it all, but we will have another great meal!! We will eat there again next time we are in the area!

Joy luck has great snappy service coupled with a huge variety of dishes. We have been here multiple times and each time tried to get different dishes. Each time we have been seen to very quickly and the service has been very warm and polite, and the food has come out promptly and been correct all of the time. The prices are slightly higher than other comparable places but the portions are also larger than usual.

Enjoyed the Walnut Shrimp, my friend got a beef dish that was also delicious. Great service! I look forward to going back sometime!

The service was awesome! Our server was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu and how to get the best combination to fit our budget. But the food was not as flavorful as we had hoped. The presentation was very nice, just not the taste we had hoped for.

Love this place! A little pricey, but worth the splurge occasionally. The char sil noodle soup is my favorite, and their egg rolls are amazing!

I dine in this place quite a bit! This is my favorite place to dine. I visit this place many times. The cooking is very tasty, the staff is friendly and the prices are decent. I like going in this restaurant over a nice supper.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Utah. The stellar service and satisfying food really makes the experience worthwhile. The waiters are fantastic and ALWAYS friendly and willing to meet your needs. If you enjoy good Chinese food I implore you to come to Joy Luck.

My family is OBSESSED with Joy Luck! We visit every time we are In Sandy (which is often) 😬 I have a lot of dietary restrictons and they are able to provide me with Dairy and gluten free options which always taste delicious! Their customer service is above and beyond and they pay close attention to details. They make you feel like family. I highly recommend this restaurant!

An awesome selection of food, very flavorful. The service was excellent and my waiter was very attentive. Will definitely go again to try more of their menu.

We have dined at this restaurant and more recently done takeout. All of our experiences have been good. Nice restaurant atmosphere, friendly staff/servers, and Chinese food done right. I'm glad we live near Joy Luck and will continue to try different menu items and support this local gem!

Always a satisfying experience for us, before and after COVID. The ambiance is just right (you don't have to shout over music to enjoy each other's company), food is fresh, hot, and served quickly and waiters attentive but not intrusive. Always delicious and authentically right Chinese. Just wish they'd cook the broccoli a teensy bit longer. Pretty much raw but warm. The lunch special is a great deal!

Really good. Priced a little higher then most but overall was great. Take out had a issue with leakage and bag fell apart. But all in all great eat

Really enjoyed dinner here. The server was professional and efficient. The food was tasty and we'll prices. I felt like I got a good variety with the dinner combo which was great! The atmosphere was nice. Not too loud. The food came out quickly and paying was easy.

I had the hot and sour soup. Good.The General Tso's chicken. Good and lots of it. The ham fried rice was good. The server was very nice, we got drinks filled regularly. So the lunch special is definitely worth it. Inexpensive, good food, and lots of it.

I LOVE Joy Luck! They have many vegetarian options, and it's all tasty and fresh. The food has never been a disappointment for us. We have been doing takeout from here lately. I am super impressed with how they handle the no contact pickup! I trust them very much, and will continue to support this awesome local company. Thank you!

Great food, great service. A little bit more expensive than other places but very much worth it. Great quality and fast. We will absolutely be back! This is some of the best Chinese food we have had in Utah.

Pretty good food and affordable. Very large portions so you will have to left overs. I recommend getting the dinner combo. Very good food and quick friendly service.

Joy Luck is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Utah. They always make my meals special for me and they are always hot and delicious. The people are also fantastic and totally service oriented. They easily get 5 Stars in my book.

My wife and I have been dining at Joy Luck restaurant ever since the first one opened in Bountiful in 1997. We have always loved the food and have continued to come back. The owners are wonderful people and they work so hard to please their patrons. We can't say enough about the food and service at Joy Luck. 10 stars if we could post it.

Waitress came to the table once just to get our order and someone else brought the food and left good food though

I am sorry, but it's just not good. I ordered "house fried rice" x2 and I was only able to eat mine because I was starving. My wife tried hers and would not touch it. I asked for beef, chicken, and shrimp and she said "oh house" which turns out to be beef, pork, and shrimp. Not good at all, especially the pork... "chunks" I'll call them... and the price ... sheesh, I prefer my place by 9400 South and highland.

I've been here twice and both times it was the best Chinese food I've eaten in Utah. I ordered take-out and was very impressed with their safety measures. They brought the food out to my car. Service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend!
